The 2021 Future CS Hub Annual Report has been published and can be read here. In the report, you will find a summary of the Hub’s progress to date towards our long term goal of establishing the UK as the global centre for CS research and manufacturing.
Report Outline
Following a Welcome message and Introduction from Hub Director Professor Peter Smowton, the Annual Report sets out the latest Hub structure. The focus is then turned to the Hub’s networks and partnerships including the Research landscape, Impact, Translation and Exploitation routes driving impact. An outline of routes for Hub and industry engagement, including a range of comments from industry partners are also included.
The Report next looks closer to home with an outline of the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) and the current Hub Expertise. Thorough updates are provided for all Work packages, Feasibility studies in CS research and Final round feasibility studies – as well as progress against Key performance indicators.
Towards the end of the report, research and new award highlights are given, as well as a summary of the Hub in numbers (see image below) and an outline of the Hub’s outreach outputs, including the SIOE Conference which was held earlier in 2021. The report ends with a list of research outputs and Hub contributors and staff.
