Institute of Physics Semiconductor group are sponsoring this year’s SIOE

The IOP Semiconductor Physics Group is a special interest group of the Institute of Physics, the professional body and learned society for physics in the UK and Ireland. The Semiconductor Physics Group is a forum for industrial and university researchers interested in the physics, preparation and application of semiconducting materials, nanostructures and devices. The group organises and supports conferences and events related to semiconductors and also organises competitions and awards for PhD students in the field, including the annual group PhD thesis prize and the Phil Buckle Research Communication Competition. IOP special interest groups are open to all IOP members and joining an IOP special interest group will help you meet, network and collaborate with your peers.
