Supply Chain Resilience Critical to Future of Compound Semiconductor Industry, Experts Warn

Dr Lenny Koh and Prof. Peter Smowton have written an article on the global compound semiconductor industry facing growing threats from geopolitical tensions, export controls, energy security concerns and climate-related disruption, according to thier new analysis

In the article, published in Compound Semiconductor magazine, they describe how restrictions on the export of critical materials such as gallium, germanium and indium have exposed vulnerabilities within the industry’s supply chain.
