Up to 15 PhD studentships available: EPSRC CDT on Compound Semiconductor Manufacturing
Applications are now open for the 2020 intake for the Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in CSM, which offers four-year fully funded PhDs that will develop advanced knowledge and skills in compound semiconductor technology as well as developing research and professional skills and an understanding of the industry. The first year is at Cardiff University, based on the MSc Compound Semiconductor (Physics or Electronics). During the first year, you will develop your PhD project alongside your chosen academic and industrial partners and so will be ready to ‘hit the ground running’ on your PhD project, which begins in Year 2 and can be undertaken at Cardiff University, University College London, University of Sheffield or University of Manchester.
