Physics and Wales: Skills for a Nation
The Institute of Physics is delighted to invite you to a reception to celebrate the work that we, alongside our collaborators, have undertaken to improve the employability of youngsters in Wales to feed into the growing need for science skills across the nation.
Speakers to include the Minister for Welsh Language and Lifelong Learning Baroness Eluned Morgan AM, IOP Chief Executive Professor Paul Hardaker, IOP President Professor Dame Julia Higgins and Wendy Sadler MBE, founding Director of Science Made Simple.
This will be followed by an interactive showcase including science storytelling, Lab in a Lorry, the Stimulating Physics Network and representation from the Institute for Compound Semiconductors.
The event will be held on 18th January, 2018 at the Senedd, Cardiff Bay, from 5 to 7pm.
