Feasibility Studies in CS Manufacturing Challenges: Call for Proposals CLOSED

Details of the next funding call from the Hub will be released later in the year.

Deadline: 4pm, 30th March, 2018

The Compound Semiconductor Hub has feasibility study funds available of £320,000 in total, to enable the inclusion of new academic and industrial partners that bring additional value to key manufacturing challenges in Compound Semiconductor research.

General Guidelines

Funding is available for up to eight feasibility studies. Each award will be limited to £40,000 at 80% FEC for up to six months. Follow on funding of up to £120,000 (at 80% FEC) will be available for up to four of the feasibility studies. The funding is intended to lead to and facilitate a large scale EPSRC or Innovate UK application with strategic alignment to the Hub.

Eligibility

The call is open to all academics working at UK institutions (including existing CS Hub and Spoke institutions), where applicants must be eligible to hold an EPSRC grant.

Requirements

Applications should be made on the form available in the full call download below.
Completed applications should be submitted to Dr Sarah Taylor, Hub Manager (TaylorS36@cardiff.ac.uk).
